Dedicated to the Russian emperor Alexander III, the monument was erected in 2012 and is a fine piece of art by sculptor Salavat AleksandrovichShcherbakov.
Located on the waterfront of the ob in the park ‘city beginning’, the monument has a height of five meters. A bronze sculptor, the monument sits on a granite base with an inscription that contains the imperial re-script of Alexander II in the name of Nicholas II. The emblem of Russian coat of arms adorns the base.
The four lampposts illuminate the monument in the evenings.
