Nuremberg, Capital of Franconia, is a beautiful city with a perfect blend of history & modernization. Nuremberg was an unofficial capital of the Holy Roman Empire. This city has stood still throughout momentous events, from the time of Holy Roman Empire to the 20th century. The Altstadt (Old city) has treasured reminisces of ancient time as the walls covering it, & is watched by Kasierburg castle from the north side.

1. Withstand the Power of Holy Roman Times at Kaiserburg
Kaiserburg castle stands on the steep cliffs majorly made of sandstone situated over the northern side of Nuremberg’s Altstadt. This castle is a mute spectator of real power & glory of The Holy Roman Empire. The castle’s keep is situated at a circular Sinwell tower which has been manufactured in the 14th century. A perk of the place is an observation platform at the top floor where you can embrace the glory of panorama view of the city.
2. St. Sebaldus Church
Named after The 8th-century Saint Sebald, Nuremberg’s patron saint, St. Seabaldus church is an ancient glory of Nuremberg. Facing from the north, you can see how the church is in two halves. The west structure is made in Romanesque & Early gothic style in the 13th century, whereas east side is a hall chancel made up in Late medieval in the 14th century.

It’s a five-floor high city museum built in 16th century. Here stands a listening station where you can listen to glorious music of Nuremberg culture composed in previous three centuries. Along with it, Best state of the art stands on the fourth floor, which is hand-carved scale model of Nuremberg’s old city Altstadt.
8. Eat at the World’s Oldest Sausage Restaurant Nurnberger Bratwurst
Nurnberger Bratwurst is famous for making sausages for two things, They are making sausages since 15th century and unlike other German chunky sausages, these ones are very tiny in size and also unique in flavor as they are protected under EU law so only can be made in Nuremberg. Such a delicious and unique dish should never be missed! But should be eaten until our stomach bursts!
