Nuuk, like most of Greenland has a climate which is subarctic. Since it is on the coast it assists with fairly moderate temperatures, but temperatures in winter are comparable to that one would experience in central Canada or northern Europe. July might be the best time to visit as the temperature on an average is just 7oC but if you are lucky it might go up to 15oC, but you simply cannot plan for a warm day all through the year. You have snowfalls and rainfalls almost all round the year so make sure you go equipped.
