About High Tea, Nuwara Eliya
As they say, “When in Rome, do as Romans do”, while you are in Little England head out to the Grand Hotel dressed in the formal attire and enjoy High Tea as British did. They have a wide variety of teas, with assorted sandwiches and cakes as accompaniments. It is one of the interesting things to do in Nuwara Eliya that will take you back in the colonial time.

High Tea, Nuwara Eliya Reviews
The food was great and so was the service! A bit of a wait for a table as it's usually busy but the hosts were very polite and accommodating. Price was about 19,000 rupees for a group of 9 (including drinks, entrees, main and dessert) so the price is good also.
Loved the food... Gr8 view... Limited menu though...Indian and Chinese food mostly.... Not for the budget traveler.... The staff is good and friendly... The head manager ensures customer satisfaction.. Would love to visit again... Avg cost for lunch 3 ppl 100$...
I can not recommend this restaurant enough. I’ve had some of the best Indian food ever, and it seemed that you could blindly choose any dish from the menu and have an excellent meal. However, they don’t take reservations, so we had to wait 1h or a bit longer to get a table. Service was good, nothing too special.
It's a great place. The view is amazing and it's perfect for a getaway from the city's busy life. But the interior of the building can be a little underwhelming compared to the exterior. If you're into old fashioned buildings this is great.
Used to love the lobster here. But they changed the menu. Good ambience but usually crowded. You have to wait in a queue if you come after 7 on a weekend.
