This mountain is an important landmark for Army and communications of the country, hence you will have to pass through an army checkpoint before starting the ascent, but you don’t need any special permit to reach the top. You will witness the magnificence and grandeur of mighty mountains and surrounding lush green valley when you reach the peak of Pidurutalagala Mountain.
