Nyerimilang Heritage Park (lakes Entrance) Reviews & Ratings
Very nice grounds and walks, but the actual house and shop is not open on Public Holidays. Apparently, it's only a tourist attraction weekdays. BBQ worked while we were there
Great walking tracks with plenty of birdlife and views of and access to the lakes. Toilets near the homestead and picnic tables near the homestead and on the lakeshore at the end of Reeves Channel.
Dropped into here on the way back to Melbourne. Series of gentle short walks in around the homestead, the cottage, stables and various buildings, with a longer loop walk into the Gippsland Lakes reserve. Lots of open lawn making this place attractive for Family picnics. Relaxed atmosphere. Entry based on donation.
Good park with some beautiful views of Lakes Entrance. Nice walks and garden too.
Surrounded by old dairy farms, this inlet provides lovely walks along the creek to the lake. In the marshes you will find a lovely array of bird life and, from the lakes shore you will be able to make out a sea eagle nest. Bring insect repellant - the mozzies are fierce.
