Oakamoor Picnic Site Reviews & Ratings

  • Probably great for a picnic/ stopover but I was there for cycling to Denstone. Has toilets open from 8:30. The old converted railway line could do with better drainage as rain the day before had pooled in many places

  • Nice for Dog's. &. Relaxing Walk... Toilets....

  • Nice place for a picnic and a good space to have a kick about or a small game of cricket. Also a good place to park for a walk along the old railway line to Ramblers Retreat or walks further than that too. Parking is free, but only downside is the car park is quite small, however there is a small overflow up the road towards Oakamoor cricket club.

  • Lovely little park with picnic benches, safe area for children, walks along the river churnet, good place to stop for a brew!

  • Excellent place to visit, walk or cycle along the old railway track in safety. Great cafe just off the trail. Well worth a visit.
