Oakland Aviation Museum Reviews & Ratings
Our young children really enjoyed learning about the different kinds of airplanes. The staff was super helpful and went the extra mile to get our lost and found items back to us.
I enjoyed my visit at the museum. I was very excited to view all the planes on display. The F/A-18 simulator was an amazing thing to do and with the help of Dale, I was able to land my first jet.
Such a great place! Perfect for anyone. Loved seeing all the plains and artifacts. Also great for kids.
There are too many words to posts and express on here, how wonderful this Aviation Museum was for my grandchildren and me. If you are looking for a great place to take the kids, this is it! They were so excited flying planes over the bay area on the simulator, receiving a pilot license with their photo, taking photos with all of the different planes and memorabilia, going into the air traffic tower and actually hearing what was going on in the airport. There was so much information for our school report, and the staff, all the way from the wonderful Director on down are so engaging and pleasant. You get the royal treatment from Gail, as soon as you walk through the doors, as your first line of contact. My three can't wait to go back. Me too!!
Nice little museum with a good variety of both civilian and military aviation history. There are members of the staff who are qualified air crew on multiple of the legacy military aircraft they have and offer excellent history and information.
