Sprawled over 20 acres, this soothing park bounded by Northeast 4th Street, Sanchez Avenue, 2nd Street, Tuscawilla Avenue and Watula Street, contains 37 historical buildings. You can walk or jog by the reservoir. The reflection of the trees by the bank and the blue sky looks awesome. The playgrounds are wonderful, and you can bring your kids there. Slides, Swings are there for them along with Baseball, Basketball and tennis courts. There is also a fire station, where the staffs would let you know about the job and you can also check out the trucks. The place also has picnic tables set up around, where you can have your brunch or picnics. The trees offer great shades. Interesting events take place frequently. You will get to see squirrels, many types of birds such as Ibis, Egret, Anhinga, Ducks, Cormorants, and Buzzards around. The sculptures around the path are great to look out for.

  • Beautiful that I could see. The different types of Ducks and birds were amazing to look at. I could stay all day and watch them. Nice playground for multiple ages. Basketball courts, nice walk areas, lots of shade. Glad I discovered it and will go back again.

  • Sunday afternoon in the park! Great walking paths, lots to enjoy while being outdoors. There are art sculptures, ducks, turtles, large shady oaks everywhere. Tennis court, fishing, kids playground. I would suggest bringing drinks and snacks as there isnt anything quick to grab. If it's hot there is plenty of shade and green to enjoy! The new bridge is fantastic! You can spend an entire day here relaxing and enjoying yourself..alone, as a couple or with the entire family. Please use the trash cans around the park, too many people leave trash in the waters and on the grassy areas. No excuses!!

  • Had a great time at the Oktoberfest I had brats, German potato salad, kosher pickles, and beer. Plenty of music and dancing a great event I hope to make it next year.

  • Pristine Park, huge trees with Spanish moss draped on the branches that is swaying in the breezes, a pleasant looking pond with two fountains and colorful foul lazing around it...all a photo-op for my camera. There is a kids play area at the other end and a large tennis court in the middle...something for everyone.

  • Beautiful park. Fun playground for the kids. Cute little "lakes" and fountains with ducks and geese. Shady, comfortable, well maintained. Nice walking paths.
