Ocean City Life-saving Station Museum - Review
Enclosed in the original 1891 U.S. Life-Saving Station, this museum along the boardwalk is absolutely unique. Depicting storms, sea life and life-saving in Ocean City, this museum has some interesting exhibits. Along with that, there are also exhibits representing artefacts used for beach vacations, shipwreck finds, fun mermaids, over 200 specimens of different kinds of sands from all over the world and doll houses to illustrate the local hotels and businesses. There is also an aquarium that houses local marine life. This museum will definitely give you an insight into the wonderful history and sea-culture of Ocean City.

Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, Ocean City Reviews
Nice exhibits of the history of Ocean City Md. Small aquarium with friendly and informative staff. Wheelchair accessible with restrooms and handicap stalls. Easy access. Kid friendly. Located close to water to put one in mood for lifesaving stories.
This is one of those “hidden in plain sight” gems. Dirt cheap to check out, worth every penny, and gives you a complete history of not only the life saving station, but the whole of Ocean City, the boardwalk and it’s many attractions. It makes a great rainy day activity, and should be a must visit place for anyone who comes to Ocean City regularly!
Born and raised in Ocean City but only visited this restored 19th century station for the first time today. It’s a must-see for fellow history nerds, especially if you enjoy Victorian era destinations.
Interesting exhibit for a very reasonable entry fee. If you have a child with you, they do a scavenger hunt to make it interesting for them as well.
This is a very nice museum. We visited it for our daughter's education trip while on vacation.
