The Haunted Tales is nestled in the heart of the boardwalk of the historic Atlantic City and acts as one of the most horrific haunted house attractions on the country. The Haunted Tales is equipped with a derelict theatre, a Coffin Ride Simulator and a gift shop. Designed for all the members of the family, this haunted attraction will take you through a spine-chilling experience right from the door when you are being greeted by Grim Reaper. The Buried Alive is one of the highlights of the place where you will be laid down inside a coffin operated by hydraulics and for the next five minutes, you will be told an eerie story of being buried alive. The studio is designed with antiques, replicas, pictures, cauldrons, piano from the Victorian Era while all the things are given a derelict look. The local folklores are incorporated here with the stories of a local Pirate and the Jersey Devil.

  • It's kinda cheesy but expectedly so for the boardwalk. It was a room that you were ushered in to with a group of people. You sat in diagonal, long benches and listened to 2 different urban legends. One was on the Jersey Devil and the other was of a pirate tale. There were fog machines and banging cabinets and moving dolls and talking animatronics etc.... nothing too scary unless you are a small child. Lasted about 15 minutes. It's a silly boardwalk thing to do. I believe it cost 11$ per adult. There was also a coffin virtual reality "ride" which was 17$ per adult we did not do. You are sealed inside a double coffin with another person and apparently are made to feel exactly what it is like to be buried alive in a coffin.

  • Basically someone put all their Halloween decorations in a room and is not charging you $10 to see them all go off while a story plays in the background, unless your with a group of young friends that abnormally scream at the littlest tap behind them then save your money.

  • Check it out. Its cool

  • Not worth the $ but I guess was worth the attempt.

  • Not worth the money. Not exciting at all.
