Having three separate institutes in one location was more a matter of convenience. The idea was to maintain presentation integrity but also operational independence each institure organises its own exhibits and funding.

Brand Klaederfabrik is associated to the Funen Art Museum and in 2013 was merged with the Kunsthallen Brandts Museum of Photographic Art. The collections here range from Danish concrete to constructivist art, and art from around Funen. Most of Denmark’s masters are represented:Jens Juel, Dankvart Dreyer, PS Kroyer and HA Brendekilde, as well as new works by Harald Giersing, William Lundstrom, Olaf Rude and Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen. The photograph section has roughly 9000 works from ppost-WWII.

The media museum on the third floor on other hand focuses on the evolution of Danish media and it’s tech revolutions especially from 1900s onwards.
