Dolphinarium Nemo - Review

There are two main attractions here. The lesser of this is the Oceanarium, an immersive experience of coral reef habitats, and various marine lifeforms. It also includes diverse climate explorations of rivers, lakes, forests, and deserts. But the main draw is the dolphin pool, which offers a lot more than shows by the playful creatures. You can get quite close to the animals, with experiences as brief as a quick photograph to as interactive as swimming and training with them. There are even health and stress therapies involving the animals. Seals and sea lions are also available. The facility also has a beach club of sorts, with heated pools, whirlpools, terraces for sunbathing, and restaurants.

Dolphinarium Nemo, Odessa Reviews

  • Stunning performance. Incredibly well done. The trainers are acrobatic and the dolphins are just so smart! And man they can jump so ridiculously high! Like 3 body lengths high. It is a must go attraction and really, my favourite place in Odessa. The seats are well designed and no one is blocking your view. Great show and great price just perfect

  • Ticket costs 250 UAH. It is 1 hour show. Very interesting. Especially for children. You can go there by taxi or by car. Better take an umbrella or a raincoat if u will take a seat on the first row. Location is by the sea. U can take a walk there as well.

  • A must see in Odesa. I have been here more than 5 times. I enjoyed a lot each time.

  • A dolphinarium is an aquarium for dolphins. The dolphins are usually kept in a large pool, though occasionally they may be kept in pens in the open sea, either for research or for public performances. Some dolphinariums consist of one pool where dolphins perform for the public, others are part of larger parks, such as marine mammal parks, zoos or theme parks, with other animals and attractions as well. While cetaceans have been held in captivity since the 1860s, the first commercial dolphinarium was opened only in 1938. Their popularity increased rapidly until the 1960s. Since the 1970s, increasing concern for animal welfare led to stricter regulation, which in several countries ultimately resulted in the closure of some dolphinariums. Despite this trend, dolphinariums are still widespread in Europe, Japan and North America.

  • Good location on sea side with good view. Interesting shows. Have a lot of different useful facilities.
