  • What a great store. I got to taste a bunch of different olive oils before I decided on one. Would definitely recommend. I didn’t get the name of the woman that was there but she was so helpful and sweet. We talked for at least 45 minutes! Enjoyed every minute

  • We had a wonderful time at Ojai Olive Oil. Ron, the gentleman who facilitated our tour was very informative and obviously loved his job. After tasting the oils and balsamic vinegars, we knew the source of his enthusiasm for this company. Superb oils that tasted as fresh as the oils we enjoyed while in Tuscany. So good!

  • The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. I purchased too much olive oil and some chapstick. No regrets. It is great to walk around the trees, pet their dog, and sample some delicious olive oil. A must see if in Ojai!

  • We learned a lot about the 8 different types of olive trees they have on the property, the history of the property itself, and how they harvest and process the olives to make their specialty oils. Some of their olive oils are infused with other oils, like that of the lemon, mandarin orange, or garlic, which creates some unique and tasty flavors. They also have other products made from olive oil and wood, and vinegars as well. Support the local olive oil industry here in California and make sure you stop by for one of their free tours and olive oil tastings, currently on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays from 10 to 4.

  • Excellent local olive oils created by knowledgeable and experienced Ojai residents who have been doing this a long time. It's a bit of a crazy drive to get there ... dirt roads, steam crossing, narrow hillside road... you're on the right path to get there. Once you're there, park and go in the tasting room and ask for the tour. Ron will take you on a guided tour of the grounds, the orchard, explain the process, take you in the processing room, and then talk you through all the different flavors of olive oil. They have several with different flavor infusions that are super delicious. It's a throwback to family farming where people care about their product and work hard to make it right.
