Located next to the Mihama American village, the Chatan Park has a beach, a baseball stadium, an Athletic Stadium, a tennis ground, a softball ground and a garden area where you can find a cozy spot and take in the view of the beautiful China sea. The poignant statue of a girl with her arms raised looking at the open sky is quite a sight against the view of the sea and for many, this is the best place to click some fabulous sunset pictures as well.

“Chunichi Dragons” is the home team of the baseball stadium and has a massive fan following in the region. If you love baseball, do drop by to catch a game. The beach is a quaint spot to go for a dip in the sea and to simply take a walk or have a small picnic with a magnificent view of the China sea to complete the experience.
