Kaichu-doro Causeway is an island with pleasant maritime road connecting Henza Island and Katsuren Peninsula. It provides a panoramic view of the crystal clear Philippine seascapes from the road. It holds the record of being the longest causeway in East Asia with a length of 4.7 kilometers. The Kaichu-doro Causeway is strategically built to let the vessels pass through the two rivers while the water lanes prevent any contamination of the seawater. There is a park adjacent to the road situated in the middle of the Causeway with benches and lawn which is a perfect destination for picnics. Also known as the Mid-Sea Road, this causeway connects Miyagi, Ikei, and Hamahiga Islands.
