Located close to the American village, the Sunset Beach is a man-made beach and is one of the most beautiful places to see the sunset when in Okinawa. The US military base is located close by and along with the sea of restaurants and eateries that line this beach and the inviting golden sands, the spot is perfect to stop by anytime during the day.

Take some time to grab a crepe ice-cream to later relax with a soulful walk on the nearby boardwalk. You can also find a few tables and chairs placed at the boardwalk for people to come down and see the sunset change the sky to hues of Auburn and orange. The best part about the beach? It is also one of the least crowded beaches around Okinawa, making it the “go to” spot for a romantic date.
