Harn Homestead Reviews & Ratings
Awesome place! Went to a beautiful reception here! Fun place for kids too!
I Attended my SON'S Wedding here very beautiful !💞👍 I recommend this location .
Just a few block south of the Oklahoma State Capitol steps sits a homestead own by the Harn family who actually donated the land for the Capitol building. Great old home and barns. Once a working farm right where it sits. Great venue for group outings and picnics. Beautiful well maintained grounds.
This is a very interesting place especially since it's located right in the heart of the state Capitol! All the buildings are from different parts of Oklahoma and have a story behind them. The staff is excellent and the school master plays his part exceedingly well! 😂 Children get to have a very small taste of what it would have been like to live in the 1900's. Definitely an experience all should have!
Very educational, lots of stuff for kids to do, but also plenty if you just want to take a walk for yourself, the barn event area is beautiful. And there is surprisingly AC in most buildings!
