  • Awesome place to get out in nature in the middle of OKC and the best part is it's absolutely free! The kids loved it! Great picture opportunities. Saw turtles, squirrels, deer, and fish on the trail as well as the animals inside the nature center. We will be returning. The playground is great too separated for young children and older children.

  • Firstly, it's free. This is obviously a nice perk. But my kids love to stop in and see the animal exhibits on our walks. We love Martin Nature Park in general.

  • Great place to get the kids outdoors. We really enjoyed the trails and the little nature center we got to explore. After our little hike, we sat and ate at the pavilion then the children played at the playground before we headed out. Beware of ticks though!

  • Martin Park Nature Reserve is a great outdoor experience. There is a playground for kids and a great center to learn about the animals in Oklahoma. The trails are perfect for spotting wildlife native to Oklahoma, like different species of birds, squirrels, deer and in the evenings you might see an owl or two.

  • OKC Audubon sponsored a field trip on Saturday 12/1/2018. Our group of 22 birders identified 40+ species of birds and saw a few too many white tailed dear. It was a beautiful day to be in the park. Probably the most exciting siting was a mature bald eagle dropping down to the pond to grab a fish and taking it to a nearby branch to eat it.
