Myriad Botanical Gardens, Oklahoma City Reviews - Write a Review
We were pleasantly surprised by the park surrounding Myriad Gardens. They have ice skating in December. There is a unique playground for kids. The park has waterfalls and trees that are lit right now for the holidays. We didn't get to go inside but I heard it is free entry every Sunday in December.
Absolutely a joy to walk around. The outside was relaxing and had some hidden places that were great to sit and reflect. Inside was good as well. The trails were fun and I enjoyed myself greatly seeing variety of plants they had to offer.
This was a major disappointment to me. I felt like I was walking through someone's backyard. Kind of small, and unless you're really into Botanical Gardens (as in you can identify these plants and somehow enjoy just walking past them), then this may be kind of boring. And I think I remember it is about $8 for the entry fee. The landscaped area outside and all the gardens in paths around this area are actually much more interesting. Go there instead.
What a delightful place to visit in the heart of OKC. The children's area was great, our kids had lots of fun running around climbing on things and playing. We showed up a little late in the day so we didn't go in the Crystal Conservatory. Definitely a place we will want to visit again!
We stop here almost every time we are in the area and we can spend hours here. There is so much to take in. In the summer there are water pads for the kids and in the winter they have a small ice ring. They hold concerts there as well. Over all its a beautiful place to relax and enjoy family time.
