Myriad Botanical Gardens - Review

This 17 acre botanical garden and interactive public park is home to several beautifully landscaped areas that surround are sunken lake. In addition to the regular pathways and jogging areas that trail along flowing streams and small cascading waterfalls, there is also a Children's Garden, and a dog park. It is the city's favourite public place. Several iconic works of art can be found around the garden, such as: Gateway, the 14 for abstract scuplture; the Childhood is Everlasting sculpture; the kinetic flying fish sculpture; and the kinetic wind sculpture called the Land of the Brave and Free.

The centerpiece of the park is the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, Which is basically an exotic plant museum. For residents of Oklahoma City this is the favorite place to get married.

The park is also a favorite place to hold annual exhibitions and other events.

  • Nice. Has lots of outdoor activities. Water park with soft floor for anyone to use. Nice gated area for your kids to play. Nice clean restrooms to use during park hours. Nice area to bring your dog to walk or to ride bikes or scooters. Definitely family friendly again. At night the park gets a little rough. They are still working hard to re build this part of town...

  • This is a very nice echo system built for learn and observing plant nature from around the world. Each plant has a description and "origin" i.e. location. It is a great place to bring students.on a field trip to learn about plant life. It is also a great place for adults to get ideas for their own green room and tropical ecosystem. There are places for event and concerts as well. On my trip half of the internal gardens was closed. I am looking forward to visiting the other half once it reopens. Love this place.

  • This place is beautiful. Hard to believe it's in the middle of the city. We were in Oklahoma City for a concert and was just going to stop by for some pics. Ended up walking around for over 2 hours. I could spend the whole day here, bring a blanket have a picnic just relax. If you're looking for a photo opportunity there's plenty of places to take pics. Great place

  • loved this place as a child when my grandparents would bring me here. still love it to this day! me and my wife go as often as we can. Plenty of educational information here but it is not forced on those who visit. You can also just relax admire how pretty all the plants and flowers are. Great place to visit in the winter time because it is always nice and warm inside. For summer visits, i definitely recommend light clothing. The place is more or less a greenhouse. Very relaxing and laid back environment. Great for school class trips just as much as it is great for a nice, chill afternoon. Check this place out if you haven't! 👍

  • I really enjoyed this place it was so beautiful. Went with my family. They enjoyed it too. Seen a lot of neat stuff. Wouldn't have seen had we not gone. So I would recommend making a stop here.
