This art district, the oldest in the city, was founded in 1929 north of downtown. has the home of about 60 art galleries and 20 artists this is one of the most creatively engaged places in the city. And it's nice to just walk through it too. It looks and feels like something out of Spain - stucco buildings and clay tile roofs. Once you're done browsing, you can check out any of the Fantastic restaurants, get some caffeine at the cafe, or shop for clothes at the boutiques. On the first Friday of every month, the gallery walk is held - new openings, lively music, and wine tastings. The next day artists can be engaged to give live demonstrations of their work.
The district is also home to the oldest church in Oklahoma, the Anglican Old Trinity of Paseo. Locally, it's a popular place for weddings.
