Hurricane Ridge Reviews & Ratings
Such a beautiful place. My family wasn't too sure about going because we had hiked so much last few days, but I convinced them and you can do very little walking or none if you don't want to and you will still see the beautiful views. Definitely worth the trip.
A truly magnificent place with breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to be on a sunny day and it was a complete fun. You can go and trek nearby places and all the views you would see are exceptional. Recommended to carry something to eat and drink when you are trekking.
Words cannot describe how beautiful and breathtaking Hurricane Ridge is. The road up is winding (with no guard rails where they should be, AHHH) but the view is 100% worth it. Just go.
Rain, mist, or shine, Hurricane Ridge is one of Olympic National Park's most beautiful spots. Easy trails to explore the alpine meadows are accessible from the paved parking area, as is a slightly more challenging, steep climb to a viewpoint of Mt. Angeles. You may see wildlife including deer, or even bear (we saw two!!). The visitor lodge boasts a large gift shop as well as restrooms. All of this beauty is less than an hour from Port Angeles. I definitely recommend the trip out here!
Way better than expected and the view was better than Mt Rainier. Easy hike for a family.
