Squaw Valley Resort Reviews & Ratings
My family attended Oktoberfest at the Squaw Valley resort and had a great time. The atmosphere is great, and we had a really good time. The village they have built looks like a great place to go for a ski vacation, but I cannot speak to that.
Great place for a afternoon walk. However, during summer it can be a bit quiet and the stores are more targeted towards skiing supplies. So, if you are looking for a place to shop for other things, this is not the place for you. However, the history of the place and architectures are very well maintained, and is worth appreciating.
Better than Disneyland! This place is amazing! It has great shopping, great restaurants, hiking, biking, wonderful places to stay the night ( or a week). The gondola ride to high camp is a must! Theres an Olympic museum as well as many places to swim. If you're in the area, you should check it out.
Nice place to stay for mountain views and chilling out. The restaurants are good for families. The shops are fun to browse. We usually come here in the off season (late spring or summer), so it's pretty quiet at those times.
I am a owner and I stay here throughout the year. In winter they have a lift right from the hotel to the squaw mountain. The squaw mountain is beautiful, and for beginners and advanced use. At night the hotel has the prettiest sunset, in winter and summer. They have amazing activities such as, ice skating, hot tub and pool, and more. In the summer there is a golf course, a pool, crafts for kids, a bar, and much more. The only problem is if you want to get to a lake you have to drive a 15 minute drive there. But, have you ever seen a hotel with a lake and a lift to the mountain? I didn’t think so. On thing that really made my trip here awesome was the restaurants. They have Sandy’s Pub, Sweet Potatoes deli, I don’t know the name but a buffet, Montagna, and the most memorable place Six Peaks. This is so memorable by the sunset right next to you, the beautiful view, delicious food, and just the magical feeling of it. Another thing to add is they have adult and kid shops where you would find Sweet Potatoes. Overall this place is amazing for summer and winter please come her on you next trip to Tahoe
