  • This is by far one of the best zoos in the country. There is so much to do and see here. The diversity of the animals kept here is amazing, from the aquarium to the center of the zoo where the larger animals are, to the large desert dome. We spent 2.5 hours there wandering around, and I feel like we didn't even see all of it. There's plenty of places to eat throughout the zoo, a little on the pricey side. The indoor exhibits were among the best of what was there. I would definitely recommend going in the summer months, as some of the animals are moved during the colder months.

  • Costly, but worth it for me. Alone/group, long walk/just stuff near the door, family with toddler/senior, I don't think anybody would be disappointed. Educational. Beautiful. Peaceful. Exciting. And home in time for dinner. Why not?

  • The Henry Doorly Zoo is a fantastic choice for a family outing. There are plenty of food and drink places just in case you get hungry. The zoo has many exhibits and areas, and is constantly upgrading. Just recently, they built a huge play spot for kids. It includes a gigantic tree house, small ferry, and lots more. Its a great place for parents to take a break and for kids to continue having fun. My own family goes there at least 7 times during the summer/spring, and have gotten the annual pass.

  • This is, by far, the best zoo I have ever been to. For starters, the zoo is HUGE! Other zoos I have been to are only a small fraction of the size. In addition, there are so many different types of animals here and they are all in very detailed and realistic exhibits. We spent an entire day here and still felt like we wanted more time. We actually drove about 8 hours to see this zoo and it was well worth the drive. I can’t wait to go back.

  • For being there during a busy time during the eclipse it was actually very warm and inviting the prices were fantastic and definitely not overpriced. I'm from Wisconsin and the biggest one that I've seen is in Milwaukee. Suit to see This Magnificent display of the animal kingdom was amazing and the work that they put into their habitats was phenomenal. If it Wasn't So Far Away I would definitely go again.
