  • An amazing variety of animals both common and uncommon. Many of the exhibits are impressive in their scope and detail when attempting to emulate the natural habitats. Those that are less impressive seem to be next in line for an upgrade. The aquarium section was awesome, with many fishes I haven't even seen at larger aquariums. The zoo is also well-organized, easy to get from exhibit to exhibit without having to constantly backtrack. Wish I could have stayed longer.

  • This zoo has it all! You can interact with giraffes and feel starfish and stingrays. Make sure you pack for an all day affair we got there midday and were rushing by the end and skipping certain areas to make sure we were able to see what we wanted to see. The food wasn't terribly expensive like most zoos and the price to get in was reasonable it's worth it.

  • This is a truly amazing and fabulous zoo! I have been to many zoos and, up until now, the San Diego Zoo was at the top of my list. However, I think the Omaha Zoo is even better. Such a wonderful place. I love the animal habitats, many of which feel very natural. The animals seem happy and well cared for. The desert dome is truly amazing. I loved the Aquarium. The Butterfly center is small, but definitely worth seeing if you love butterflies. If you go during the middle of the week, it is definitely less crowded. You can get a souvenir drink cup, at one of the food counters, and bring it back to get reasonably priced refills. If I lived in Omaha, I would definitely have an annual pass to this place. It is a joy to visit!

  • Beautiful Zoo! We drove up for the day from Kansas City and the zoo was very easy to find. The exhibits are amazing and very well maintained. Absolutely loved the aquarium, the desert dome and the rain forest. The train was so much fun! and don't miss the Merry Go Round! Wear comfortable shoes because you will be here all day and WALK a lot! This is a don't miss!

  • The zoo is always one of my favorite places to go. We found a new area we hadn't seen before with a bunch of interactive things for kids. There was a river and waterfall that my son absolutely loved. The aquarium is still my favorite. And the membership is completely worth it if you plan on going more than once a year. My parents live in Wisconsin and have one because they said it works other places as well, and once you've been twice, it pretty much paid for itself
