Dodabetta, Ooty Reviews
Heavy rains ensured we couldn't enjoy a clear view from the mountain top but nonetheless we had a real good family time here. The smoked corn cobs with hot coffee were the best things for that weather. Good place for a family picnic.
It's a nice view from the top of the hill especially from glass house. It must watch at least once in your life. Try to go in winter than in summer. Kids play items are there. Small street shops on the way to hill top. Restricted area if you cross, a dense forest, can go for trekking. Amazing experience!
Nice place to visit. Overlooks the valley, so very nice view. Climate is chilly all around the year, and wind also adds to it. Better to carry light winter wear. Place gets crowded by the afternoon due to heavy number of vehicles parking all along the way. So best time to visit is early during the day.
Beautiful view but a very crowded place especially on holidays. The road leading uphill is not concrete and traffic is bumper to bumper especially weekend. You can see many peaks through the telescope and the scenic blue Nilgiris. Try the tea here
U have to visit between 3pm to 6pm to enjoy the mist.. only view points, nothing much.. telescopes work on n off.. photographers are there to take good photos with print for nominal prize.. small scale street shops are there for shopping.. After 5.30 pm mist will cover the entire place.. thrilling experience.. keep woolen clothes otherwise u will get headache.. no one is allowed to enter after 6pm as the wild bison might cross in our way.. road is in a bad shape.. needs immediate attention.
