You won't find anything good here except groups of tourists. But i liked the route. It's more beautiful than view from the peak. So don't waste time and energy to go there.
This place is still famous because of its name and nothing special about it... Drive safe... Have good company... Travel during the best season.. Make your trip a memorable one...
This peak provides a good view of the hills. Slightly overrated. It's a good 10 minutes climb from the parking area to the peak. There are small market stalls (offering a variety of products as toys) on the way leading to the peak. There's a small telescope kept at the peak that gives a magnified view of the houses in the hills.
Doddabetta peak was a little bit of disappointment due to the fact that road toward the peak is good but when you reached the top, peak which are obviously very far but the peak which can be seen, are really at low level. Making it a no go place and also traffic management is pathetic if you go by car you won't be able to find parking spot as very less adjustable space are made for parking.
Nice place but you have to walk a while to reach it. Telescope view point very crowded if u want it can be avoided and below area gives a nice view as well. Entry chargeable as well.
