  • Good place but not much of the information available here is useful. Small place where not many people visit. It's a kind of a place we can skip if we don't have much time. Visit only if you have abundance of time and not left with any other places to visit.

  • Museum is good 5 Rs/- entry fee. Very good for kids to learn all birds. Fossils, old scripts, old coins of south India.

  • A rather unexpected museum in the heart of Ooty.... A good walk uphill, the Ooty Government Museum houses some of the best local arts and crafts from the local tribes and aborigines that have dwelled in the past!! Clearly a historic construction, The museum houses various species of birds, domestic and wild animals and several other creatures as well! The museum also has a great collection of pre-independence era weapons, machines and other tools that been in regular use at those times!! The museum also houses stone pre-independence era coins, carved stones and other artifacts from several eras in Ooty and it's surrounding areas!

  • A small cute building equiped with some nice historical stuff.. Entry charge is very cheap..
