Sweet Sour Salt Reviews & Ratings
This was a great little spot for some pan Asian fare. Friendly and helpful staff, funky interior and reasonable prices. They have some lovely fresh cocktails too and nice dessert! I’d go back again.
Absolutely fantastic staff and meals. Do yourselves a favor and try this place. Thanks Maddy (the Estonian chick - lol) really good waitress. Try the Son in Law Eggs or the Green Thai Salad for starters.
Great menu that accommodates for a wide range of tastes and palates. Standout was a beef sirloin that blew me away. Friendly staff and good vibes.
Food was amazing! Great Asian fusion dishes, ordered 7 things (+ rice) to share between 4 of us and was a great amount. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars not 5 was the cocktails... the use of lime cordial instead of sugar and fresh lime being muddled properly is such a shame (you can tell from the texture of the cocktails). The drinks menu should properly compliment the food; the food was amazing and you can see thought has gone into the cocktail menu, just not great ingredients, which made them a little incongruous compared to the great food, beer and wine selection.
Food was lovely but service was super slow. It took an hour to get mains (on a Tuesday evening). Even then it was only one dish. The rest arrived 15 minutes after the first. One wait staff friendly and approachable the other not so much. Again can't fault the food.
