Island Lake Conservation Area Reviews & Ratings
I've been coming here for years, I've always had the best experience. Today was no short of that. I had my son and my cousin with me and a full truck of food and equipment enjoy a day of fun! I would like to thank the staff for the best customer experience given to us. I was looking for a cart to trolley over the stuff and that's when they gracefully offered a ride over to my fishing spot. Thank you Tristan and all the staff members.
Excellent place for those looking for an easy hike in a well-maintained facility. Loads of seating and vantage points along the wide and comfortable trail. Beach area is a bit small but good enough for families and kids. The amphitheatre located just off the beach is a truly unique feature as well that can host some great community events.
Amazing view. Bring a camera because the scene is wonderful here. The water is beautiful. Lots of walking. Comfortable shoes and light wear for this walk. Great for cyclists.
Very nice conservation area with boardwalk trails and beautiful scenery. I went with a stroller and my toddler was on and off, and it was a very easy walk. They also rent canoes and kayaks, and it has a beautiful beach with a stage for performances in the water. I also went to the Maple Syrup festival here and it was great!
Great place for family and friends to gather for food, games and some sun! We had a great time. Facility is maintained well on a busy long weekend Sunday. We saw fish, turtle, and other small animals and birds. Will come back again!
