Tier- Und Freizeitpark GermendorfCurrently Closed
The Animal and Leisure Park Germendorf is a great place for picnics and family hangout. The place is specifically known for the animals who roam around freely here and can be pet fed at a minimal price. There’s a new addition to the place in terms of a children’s park and a dinosaur park. Walk around the lush green terrain, as if walking in the woods and watch deers hopping around and birds chirping, cutting their way through the clear skies above. The children’s park is well equipped as well and there are food counters, which give out snacks at reasonable prices. The best thing about the park is that it offers the same level of finesse, quality service and facilities for the disabled as well.

This place is great for a day! Lots of animals to look at and rides to go on lakes to sit at play in the sand at or even grill in the grilling area! Plus its cheap as .... I thought because the entrance price is so little the food prices would be crazy, there not.. We took most of our food with us anyways. Were lots of benches and tables for lunch and such. We went on some of the rides as well, and felt like I'd gone back in time, try them and you'll know what I mean! Spent all day here and only got bored because I couldn't be bothered to see another animal!! So went to the beach and relaxed there till closing! My daughter and I had a blast, she couldn't stop talking about the place the day after, we will be going back! Only negative, the bus doesn't stop in front, we were with a car which was much better than walking that last strip...
We really like this park! It offers lots of things for its visitors. First of all, there's a big area with realistic models of dinosaurs and other creatures which lived on our planet up to the first men. Also, there's a zoo (with many species) and an area with free-walking deers, whom you can feed. Children adore this! Then, there are several playgrounds (including 1 indoor climbing complex) , amusements for children (like kids train, etc). The amusements are payable, but cost rather cheap. In summer they also have a free trampoline for children. Except this, the park has a small beach and really many places for picnic. You can bring food with you, or buy here in one of the cafes. All in all, the park is a good choice to spend a day when the weather is good.
This is my favourite place to bring my kid. The ticket is only 5 euro and inside this huge place you can find everything you need to spend the day. Not only a zoo but also playgroundS (plural) 2 lakes where kids can swim, a dinosaurs park... Bring a couple of 50 cents coins because some games are not free. And also bring your own food and make a nice picnic, because the food there is not very good.
A somewhat bizzare mix of fairground type rides, playgrounds, bathing areas, animal park and dinosaur park, just not really to my taste. We visited with our toddler and he did seem to enjoy some areas of the animal park and the playgrounds, there are deer roaming freely around some areas which was a nice experience to get up close to them. Overall its ok for something to do as a family over the summer however I don't think it likely that we would visit again soon.
Nice place to spend with kids and it is very cheap. We reached this place easily through public transport. My kid enjoyed the whole park and especially horse ride and the kids water play area. I visited on weekday so it was quite and not much crowed.
