This venue is definitely pretty. We were so excited based on reviews. However, we definitely did not have the same experience and ultimately are sorry we chose it for my daughter's wedding. We were given Laurie Morris as our wedding organizer. She was nonresponsive from the start. We finally had to ask the venue owner, Kevin, to intervene to get a response from her. On the day of the wedding, we tried to ask Laurie for help as to where to set up or find things. She was in a foul mood, dismissive, and rude to our guests. Once again we had to get Kevin to intervene. But, when we saw Kevin come out to speak with Laurie, it was clear they are good friends and laughing. This all while my younger daughter, the maid-of-honor, was on the point of tears because she was flustered and stressed. The outside area was set up in a haphazard/attractive way. They did not set up the microphone for the ceremony. Inside, there was no water at the tables. So, guests had water glasses but no water. Throughout the reception, Laurie was unpleasant and inaccessible. At the end of a long night, my husband and I had to figure out where things were and went. Laurie again was rude and just kept walking away. She made a stressful situation even more stressful. I don't know why she was rude to our guests and unhelpful. This is her job for god's sake. I'm glad I was able to insulate my daughter from Laurie's ugliness. I'm so sorry I could not do that for everyone.
