Redwood Valley Railway Reviews & Ratings
Lovely little toy train through the forest. Great for your little one. We brought our 11 month old for the trip and he was happy. The ride is fun but short. For three bucks it's great. The laid back nature of the park contributes to the experience. Will recommend.
Volunteers were helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time riding the trains and talking to the docents. Very reasonable
Awesome steam train ride for almost 15 mins inside the woods. Kids enjoyed the ride with sound and steam gushing out of the engine. Definitely a different experience for the families too. It brought back our good old memories. It was bit cold inside, carry jackets if carrying small kids. Worthy visiting this place!
The steam train was an awesome surprise, for three bucks you can go for a quick little 13 minute ride around the property. For three bucks I feel like this is a great deal most amusement parks or other rides would only be a three or five minute activity, and they would be charging you $8 to $10. This is a great place for families to go.
I go here often with my little guy. The best authentic steam train in the bay, even if it is little. Actually my favorite attraction in Tilden aside from the park itself. While you're out there consider going to the little farm and the carousel as well. You're also not far at all from Lawrence Hall of Science which is phenomenally great.
