This lovely island in Orkney is blessed with its hills, steep trails, beaches, magnificent view of the bay and lots of lakes. Rich in history and wildlife, this place has the perfect view of sunrise and sunsets from the beach. The Old Man of Hoy is a light-stone sea stack precariously standing taller than even the facing cliff. The Martello Towers located nearby is also worth visiting. The hiking trail to the Old Man of Hoy is a lifetime experience to cherish. There is the rock-cut tomb Dwarfie Stane that bears similarity to Neolithic or Bronze Age tombs around Mediterranean. The old Hoy Church has its cemetery and a naval war grave along with a rock carved tomb. You can also check out Scapa Flow center too. This tranquil island with its unique attractions is a must visit, you will just want to settle here!
