Amc Universal Cineplex 20 With Imax, Orlando Reviews
First off I will say it's best to go there after 6pm because parking is free if you are only going for movies. The city walk experience is a very nice one. Lots of places to see without entering the park itself. I went there to watch a movie, BTW be prepared it is a large movie theater, after the movie was over I was able to walk around and check out the area before heading home. You will 100 percent like the theater and city walk. Before I forget in order for you to get to city walk or theater you will be security screened like the airport. So help everyone including yourself and be prepared.
Convenient location. Fast ticket. Concession stand needs redesign or reorganization, but it has lots of snack options. My only true negative is I wish they had revamped the theaters with lounge seating like all the other ones and had at least one dine-in. I'd be there more often.
The movie I wanted to see started at 11:30pm and due to traffic and the congestion in the garage. I arrived at the theatre at 11:38pm and was told they closed and I was unable to purchase a ticket for the 11:30pm showing. That was very disappointing cause the movie was probably still showing previews. The guy at the door said, "We closed at 11:35, 5 minutes after the start time of the last showing". AMC need to do something about this behavior because this was very unacceptable. I could see if I showed up at 12am, that would be understandable. But 11:38pm was not too late to catch the last showing!!!!! I'm very disappointed to say the least!!!!!
I haven't been here in years and I finally came back but I hated paying so much for the parking just to get to the movie theater. And then to top everything off if you are running late everyone beware because you have to go through what looks like TSA at an airport. It's time consuming but I know in the world we live in now it's necessary. That was a downer because when I go to Disney Springs I do not have to worry about any of that. But despite all of that it is in a very nice area and there's so much to do around it. So it's worth the hassle😁😀
Horrible and unprofessional customer service. Only giving one star just to leave a review. Matthew (an employee), saw my boyfriend needing to use the restroom. Told us we had to leave. We told him it was an extreme emergency, and that we could not find another restroom due to the fact that it was pouring rain outside for a good 10 minutes. He smiled and said “Have a good day” and threatened security to be called on us. I work as a Disney Cast Member. Regardless of any situation or any location, a person is allowed to use the restroom in a case of emergency. Extremely poor service Matthew.
