Artegon Marketplace, Orlando Reviews
The mall has pretty much closed. There's a few stores open around the parameter of it, but not many. The movie theatre is still open and more awesome than ever! You pick your seat when you buy your tickets, so you know exactly where you'll be sitting. The seats are wide, comfortable, electric recliners, with wide armrest, so you aren't fighting for arm space! To top it off, they also serve beer, wine, and Starbucks!
Even though the place was nice before it closed i just felt the Festival Bay Mall was more of a "unique mall with character". Artegon Lacked many stores and was very dead but the ceiling was well lit. I felt that if they got tenets for the Festival Bay mall it could of been better. The mall before just felt more tropical and cool yet hip. Just sad what happened.
What to say? It's a mall. Unfortunately, in this case, it is a mall that is dying. The mall has putt-putt, movies, Bass Pro, Fuddruckers...that's about it. It is sad. The slow dying of America is epitomized by this mall...AND ON I-DRIVE NO LESS...this is a real shame because the business model SHOULD have worked! Here is to our country's big come back! (And, to this mall having new life breathed into it!)
Good place to go when waiting for a movie at the nearby theater. Usually not crowded. Good selection.
Love the atmosphere here. Go there on the wine tasting day. Drink while you look around the stores. Check out hanging n things. Great hammocks and accessories there. Owner is very kind and knowledgeable. Make sure you grab a bite at U ROLL sushi. Own is very kind and the food is fantastic.
