What a beautiful park smack in the middle of town. I’ve been driving long distances to go to different parks and one of the states best is in our backyard!! Must go. Great disc golf courses. Great trails. Clean. Plenty of restrooms.
My review is strictly for the disc golf amenities here although I will say the entire park looks great! Favorite place in Orlando to play disc golf! There are three 18 hole courses within the park, all well maintained with great signage, high quality baskets, and concrete tee pads. Yes you have to pay to get in the park ($4/car of people but only $2 if you’re solo!), but it’s absolutely worth the price to come play here.
I love the many natural spaces where I lead ecological outdoors school field trips! We also do service projects here. The park staff is always friendly and helpful!
I have been going to Bill Fredrick often to play disc golf. There are 3 different 18 hole courses, each with their own characteristics and obstacles. It's also a great to hose family events, BBQ, rise your bike, go for a run, and much more.
This park is also a full hookup RV park for less than $30 a night. Its nestled under a single canopy of tall trees, so satellite reception is not good, but the shade from the sun is fantastic. The facilities are really good and it's well maintained. There are ZERO permanent campers, so it doesn't look like shanty-town at all. Its gated, closed at night - requiring a pass code to enter and exit after hours. Its 4 miles from the major Disney and Universal Studios and its the best value in the area! I highly recommend this RV park!
