Holy Land Experience, Orlando Reviews
My family and I took my grandmother for her birthday. This place was truly amazing. The theatrical production and singers were outstanding. I suggest to arrive when they open to make sure you can see all the shows! We had a young man named Taylor that was extremely helpful, pushed my grandmother's wheel chair to the show, showed us were to purchase a blanket when she was cold and even saw us later on in the park and checked in with us again. I would recommend this place!!
Let me start out by saying this was one of most amazing experiences we have had as a family! From the incredible live theater performances, the priceless biblical artifacts, the breathtaking grounds and re-creations of the holy land, to the serene prayer gardens. Some of the actors prayed for a large group of people with their prayer requests, it was amazing to see so many different people of different backgrounds participating in a beautiful moment gathered together in prayer. This has been our favorite part of our trip so far learning more about Jesus and the Holy land together as a family it was truly a special day!
I must say, if you haven't been to The Holy Land Experience you need to put it on your bucket list. This place along with the staff and actors are awesome. Their politeness aling with their attitudes is in agreement with their jobs. Most definitely make sure to see all 4 parts of "God with Us" plays. It really make you appreciate the Grace of God more clearly. God Bless The Holy Land & their staff workers....
The Holy Land Experience is an Awesome display of God's Greatness! The reenactments were wonderful along with the skits designed to give you a tid bit of information about certain key elements in the Bible. The staff are warm and friendly just as I expected them to be. I can't wait to go back and see the things I missed!
Disappointed, was here a few years aha and JESUS was the highlight, with communion being given as Jesus talked to the disciples at the last supper, all employees were in old time Jerusalem costume and seemed to have such reverence to the customs of those days, the prayer garden was much more honoring to those who wanted to pray there. Jesus was glorified then. Now it is theatrical with much emphasis on Roman soldiers using their weapons, where the disciples are shown at the end we waited to see our Lord honored but only saw the cross above lit. I also missed the service in the sanctuary that made us feel we had just gone to church on Sunday the ANOINTING HAS LEFT THE PARK as it didn't seem like they have any of what kept it there. There was no crucifixion scene acted out, no Jesus healing the blind man etc....I was left wondering what happened to Jesus, he was there but down played he faded in among the other actors. I guess it is good but certainly lacks the TRUE ANOINTING it used to have.
