  • It’s a good ride and everyone should do it once but that about it. You can see most of the animals in your local zoo so don’t stand in line for hrs. Yes people stand in line for couple of hrs. If you have fast pass then do it. There are much better places in park to use your fast pass.

  • My personal African safari at a discount as I cannot afford to visit the African continent anytime soon. The best times to go is during the morning and late unless it is raining. More animals can be scene during overcast or a light rain. The lions are more active during the night tours.

  • This is the great "thesis statement" ride of Animal Kingdom, taking up much of its enormous land area: a safari ride through simulated African wilderness with real live animals. How many you'll actually see, and what they'll do, is all up to the animals, so it's different every time. It helps to ride early in the day, before it gets hottest.

  • If you go later towards the evening the line gets short. We waited only 10 minutes on a busy day. Lots of animals to see. Do realize these are live animals in a plain. They can be hiding or sleeping so every ride will be different. The ride itself is extremely bumpy and they won’t stop long to grab photos so take them quick.

  • This is a must see ride at Animal Kingdom. No animatronics here, all real animals you can see up close. Worth using a fast pass on since the lines get long and you probably won't be able to get one for the good Avatar ride anyway. If it's a short wait you might try going more than once, never know what will be visible on any given ride.
