I’m not happy with the recent change to the playground it was covered in great condition with awesome turf and was ripped out to put some other permanent structures in. I’m not impressed missed the old set up. The kids can’t play all year round anymore bc it gets too hot in the summer months and the equipment is on fire. I wonder wanted prompted this decision.
We like it here, it's different from the other local parks. They have recently changed the entire playground. The new one is the green and brown one. It's good but not as expansive as the old one. It doesn't hold my son's attention as well as the old one did.
Excellent place to spend time with the family. And for meditation. Love for the kiddos b-day patties.
New playground is a bit smaller than the old one. Hopefully they will be adding a little more. The kids always have fun here.
Employee harassed me. I was sitting on the bench next to the playground with my leashed dog sitting quietly beside me while watching my kids play. Despite no signs anywhere stating any rules, employee insisted my dog couldn't be within 25 feet of the playground and wouldn't leave me alone until I moved to a pavilion away from the playground. Update: I filed a complaint with the county and received a phone call from a supervisor apologizing and stating it was not true and that it would be addressed in an employee meeting. Policy is Dogs should be leashed and they prefer they not pee on the playground or be on the equipment. My dog and I were following these rules.
