Tokyo Dining, Orlando Reviews - Write a Review
So, as soon as you walk in the hostesses are kind of rude. Whatever.... It may get on your nerves but it will pass. Once you get to a table, things get a bit better. Service is par. The food is hibachi, nothing to write home about. Not bad but not the greatest ever. The cooks are cool and they are nice to the kids. The servers are not rude at all and they kept our drinks full. We were on the dining plan so the food was plenty.
I am a annual pass holder and a Florida resident so I come to Disney World often. Usually once a month or at least 9-10 times a year and everytime I come I ALWAYS come to Epcot at least once to eat at this restaurant. In all of Disney World, this is my FAVORITE restaurant to eat at. I've had the hibachi and it was fantastic! The chef's were delightful each and every time. My go-to is the dining option though, especially during dinner - once it starts getting later/dark. I get a nice table, if possible I ask to be seated along the window and enjoy my meal and wait for the fireworks/light show to begin so I get dinner and a show all at once. The service is always excellent. The food is always excellent. If it's not too busy my husband and I like to speak with our server an learn about the town she comes from, and learn different things about Japan. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything about this restaurant is spot on and worth the money! I would recommend stopping in at least once, if not everytime you get the chance!
As a mom I try to find restaurants that my kids would enjoy. Out of all Disney restaurants this one has the cutest kids meals. The kids entrees come in a monorail plate. I recommend sitting by the window to have a fantastic view of World Showcase. I recommend the Spicy Calamari Tempura as an appetizer. Unlike most tempura offerings this one wasn't just pure flour. Our meals were beautifully presented and tasted good. The firecracker roll is a good choice if you like spicy foods.
Very beautiful decor and intimate feel. Waitress and whole staff was incredibly nice. Was very considerate to vegetarian and vegan preferences!
This is one of my favorite restaurants at Disney. It's a fantastic place to see the fireworks at night. The service is amazing along with the food. We almost always eat dinner here. I have never had a bad experience here and we've ate here at least 4 times. If you love sushi or Japanese food check this place out.
