Make sure you don’t miss the Pozzo Sacro Su Putzu on your way to Orroli to discover the religious architecture of the much-talked-about sacred wells and the sacred sources for the worship of water. Structured by an atrium and surrounded by stone seats on the sides, the sacred wells lead to a staircase that end right at their base of the tholos room. On the other hand, the sacred sources have only a few steps that open to a false-covered space which shelters the spring vein where the vein of water is barely captured. The Pozzo Sacro Su Putzu boasts of its history that goes back to somewhere between 1200 and 900 BC.
