Hostel is situated right near where the craziness is. Step out, make a turn and you're in the midst of Osaka. Walking distance to Dotonbori where you can pretty try street food. Rooms are quite standard, you get a bike lock to lock your bags and a personal small locker and you'll have to share luggage space with one other person. Really enjoy the communal library where you grab a free drink
This is probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. The mornung breakfast was delicious and there's lots of space in the common areas to hang out. The decor was really nice and uniqur and the washroom was kept very clean. My only issue is that it's a non-smoking facility, yet the hallways always smelled like smoke and I saw a guest smoking. This rule needs to be enforced better.
Cute place. Could be cleaner. Too many people packed in one huge room, you are separated only by one little curtain, can hear people snoring, talking, farting. Ladder to climb up and down is super uncomfortable.
Pros: 1. Affordable 2. Nice powder rooms 3. Close proximity to train stations. Great location. Cons: 1. It gets really hot in the rooms. Slept naked. It was that hot. 2. Sometimes the washrooms are not cleaned 3. If you have a large luggage, there's no elevators and the rooms are up in the 3rd floor.
Location is good. Lots to do at night. Room temperature is high, plenty of people walk in and out after 12, so it's hard to get a nice sleep. DON'T ORDER BREAKFAST HERE!! it's slow and taste bad.
