Pros: 1. Affordable 2. Nice powder rooms 3. Close proximity to train stations. Great location. Cons: 1. It gets really hot in the rooms. Slept naked. It was that hot. 2. Sometimes the washrooms are not cleaned 3. If you have a large luggage, there's no elevators and the rooms are up in the 3rd floor.
Location is good. Lots to do at night. Room temperature is high, plenty of people walk in and out after 12, so it's hard to get a nice sleep. DON'T ORDER BREAKFAST HERE!! it's slow and taste bad.
The best thing about Guest House Wasabi is its library- a wide selection of manga and books about Japan written in English. The hostel has a convenient location and low price. However, it's right above a Pachinko, and cigarette smoke permeates its walls. Would not recommend to non-smokers.
Great location and nice price. No rooms but spacious capsule style. Staff is nice and many of them speak English and other languages. Many young people there since it's budget price. Instant noodles and juices available (or go to combini and bring it to the lounge). Great selection of comic books and books. Too many for the short time at the guest house.
Everything is great about it, especially the location, except the smell. Though not super strong, you can definitely smell it. Not recommended for people who are sensitive to cigarette's smoke, but if you can get over that this is a super affordable, convenient and clean hostel to stay at.
