About Tachibana Street, Osaka
Back in the Edo days this used to be furniture street. During Meiji times it gained a reputation for antiques. Today, this 800 meter long street has all that AND a plethora of boutiques, interior decor stores, and bars and cafes. It is usually crowded with young people, especially in the evenings. The vibe of this street is very unlike the rest of Osaka. It's almost bohemian - the layout, the dresses, the store-fronts.. You're almost guaranteed to find a great cup of coffee.
