Tenjimbashi-suji Shopping Street, Osaka Reviews

Google+
  • Good place to go for affordable goods from shoes, bags, clothings to souvenirs and Japanese snacks. Can easily spend half a day there.

  • Basically a market for locals, not very interesting for tourists. Lots of clothes, bags, cheap general stores of average quality and style. If you have limited time, not worth visiting compared to other markets in Osaka like Shinsaibashi or Kuramon Ichiban

  • A great place for you to find good clothes, shoes etc with cheap price. The takoyaki here is only 350 yen. Cheaper than other places.

  • Whilst it is listed as the longest shopping street it is perhaps a place for good food at reasonable prices. Loads of food being offered along the shopping street itself as well as in cafes on the side street too. Best to start from Tenma Stn on the JR Osaka Loop Line from Osaka Stn. And then walk down for the food places. Most open around 11am. These are places that locals go to; so.not many tourist. A little trick on ordering, take a photo of the meal you want as displayed in the window and show it when waiter comes. Some meals are either a set or a main only so you need to be clear.

  • Easy to reach (close to JR Temma station), what a long street market, and cheap price too. Best place for shopping rather than shinsaibashi-suji which is more high price
