It's thought roughly 400,000 people pass through this shopping mall every single day. 'Whitey' is a portmanteau of white and city, and that's exactly what the place looks like - a white city. There are more than 200 shops and restaurants here, selling everything imaginable under the sun. One of the main highlights and meeting points is Fountain Square.

Whity Umeda, Osaka Reviews - Write a Review
Good underground shopping center. A little old and hard to navigate but lots of good shops and convenient exits, too. The fountain area is great to meet up with people and has seasonal displays that are pretty ridiculous and fun. (In warmer seasons, the fountain runs like a normal fountain.)
Shopping! There are more shops here. Small shops that offer local brand. The food here is cheaper and sometimes better. Take a look here before going for the bigger malls
Lots of shops. This place is huuuge. Great transport links too as it's close to 3 Osaka Subway lines as well as the JR, Hankyu and Hanshin lines.
An underground shopping place for all. Restaurants and shopping stores will crush your budget to no end.
There are many various restaurants. Cafe, standing drinking, Okononmiyaki, Takoyaki, and soon.
