Memorial Park Reviews & Ratings

  • At the time of this writing there was a public concert supported by various Unions and the City of Oshawa. Food, dancing and a Beer Tent were all present and children were able to play in the fountain, all with smiles and laughs. Good to see Oshawa returning to normal .. 😁

  • This was a beautiful park in the center of Oshawa with lots of mature trees and plenty of seating and a band stand. The only negative we found was to listen to the music was impossible as it was a boiling hot day and the benches are metal, but other then that not a big issue.

  • It is a very beautiful park I have been there many times. It it very well kept and taken care of.

  • Hard luck dopers, 15 per picnic table..a person, or, two passed out in the music shell, outdoor auditorium..and this was just hours before Canada Day celebrations.. A most unsavoury park that appears to be granted lease to vice due to its immediate proximity to the men's and women's shelter as well as those who would find even those accommodations beyond their taste.. It remains an unfortunate legacy of downtown Oshawa that free license is granted to those whom choose to live otherwise, thus, holding hostage, to some degree the miniature downtown core, for such a wealthy, sprawling city as, Oshawa is, and has been for since it's inception.

  • Wonderful place.well kept grounds and lots of areas to sit..Bandshell as well as monument are extremely nice. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless folks who just hang out all day who have no respect for others who are trying to enjoy the beautiful grounds
