Frogner Park is a beautiful public park which was historically a part of the Frogner Manor. On this day, the park consists of the well-known Vigeland installation which is basically a sculpture park within the park itself and consists of a wide range of beautifully crafted sculptures. Over 200 sculptures made in bronzer, cast iron and granite and designed by Gustav Vigeland can be found here. Covering an area of 45 hectares, the park is one of the most popular recreational areas and attracts people from far and wide. On a clear sunny day, the park offers fantastic opportunities to enjoy a picnic and a barbecue, to walk your dog, play badminton or simply to get some sun.
