Frogner was an old and large agricultural property, that’s now been recognised as an important historical heritage. Today, it houses the Oslo City Museum, which is famed mainly for its library (which has extensive document’s about Oslo’s history), an art collection of about 1000 paintings and 6000 other works, and one of Norway’s largest photo collections. Exhibitions of the museum thematically depict Oslo’s journey through history.

PARK: The biggest park in central Oslo is a favourite city hangout. Picnic and barbeque, badminton and dog running, sunbathing and people watching – it’s a wonderful place to relax. It also has Norway’s single biggest collection of roses. At the park you’ll also find:
