Built around 1300, the Church of the Sailors Sant’Erasmo is almost a miniature museum with ex-voters and seagoing marinas i.e. model ships, anchors, ex-vote. The wooden statue of St. Erasmus and a large picture depicting the Madonna with St. Rocco and St Erasmus is worth a visit. Besides the models of ships, there is a copper sculpture and a cane containing the remains of an ancient sailing ship inside the chapel. The newly installed wall paintings and the excellent light system make the interior more beautiful. The three rough patches left of the facade are a symbol of architectural heritage.
