Lamine River Conservation Area is blessed with a rich diversity of flora and fauna. It is a huge space composed of woodland areas interspersed with grassland, cropland, ponds and wetlands. This area got its name from a French prospector who belonged from the 18th century. The area is dependent on mainly a transition stream that displays features of both an Ozark type stream and a farmland stream.
