Dedicated to the local cultural history and the lifestyle of the people in Klein Karoo region, this special museum has a variety of sections which makes it worth visiting. With a section dedicated to the role of Jewish community on the abundant development of Ostrich industry in Oudtshoorn, the museum also has a pharmacy section which contains the replica of early 20th century pharmacy.
The museum is named after Charles Paul Nel one of the prime role player in the formation of the museum.
